Description:

Aspartame CAS NO.22839-47-0 is white crystalline powder, odorless, with strong sweetness. The sweetness is similar to sucrose, the sweetness is 150 to 200 times that of sucrose, and the sweetness threshold is 0.001% to 0.007%. It is soluble in water, and its solubility at 25°C is 10.20%. The solubility in methanol and ethanol are 3.72% and 0.26%, respectively. Easily hydrolyzed in aqueous solution. It can be decomposed into monomeric amino acids under acidic conditions, and can be cyclized to diketopiperazine when it is neutral or alkaline. The temperature rises and the reaction speed increases. The PH value of 0.8% solution is about 4.5~6.0.
