VB1 Thiamine Mononitrate CAS NO.532-43-4 is white needle-like crystals or crystalline powder, with a special smell like faint rice bran, and a bitter taste. Melting point: 248-250°C (decomposition). It is very soluble in water (1g can be dissolved in 1mL of water at 20℃), slightly soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in ether, benzene, chloroform and acetone. Redox can make it inactive. It has good thermal stability in air and acidic aqueous solution (PH3.0-5.0), and is easy to decompose under neutral and alkaline conditions.
