Indocyanine green, an organic compound with the formula C43H47N2NaO6S2, is a diagnostic drug used to test liver function and effective blood flow to the liver.Methylene Blue is an organic dye known by the scientific name 3, 7-diamino-10-methyl-5-phenylisoindoline trihydrochloride. It is usually a green crystalline or powdered substance that is soluble in water and alcohol solvents.
Application:
Indocyanine green is a green organic dye with the chemical name tetrahydroindoline [4, 5-BC] pyrrolidene-9-methyl-methyl hydrochloride. It has good water and fluorescent properties, and is widely used in medicine, especially in the diagnosis and treatment of dirty diseases.
It is the main point of indocyanine application in the liver:
1.Liver function monitoring: Liver excretion of indocyanine green after intravenous administration Estimate liver function by monitoring its fluctuation in fluid This method is called the indocyanine green clearance test and can be used to assess the status of liver function in patients.
2.Extrahepatic cholangiography: Indocyanine green can be used as a contrast agent and excreted into the extrahepatic bile duct after intravenous injection for imaging of the extrahepatic bile duct. This method is commonly used to detect biliary diseases such as biliary obstruction.
3.Intrahepatic labeling: Indocyanine green can be used to label and evaluate blood supply and functional areas of the liver during liver surgery. By injecting indocyanine green into the intrahepatic artery, the doctor can observe the route of indocyanine green in the blood circulation, and then guide the operation.
4.Liver pathology diagnosis: Indocycline green, as a dye, can be used for staining and microscopic observation of liver tissue sections to assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of liver diseases.
