Enduracidin (Enramycin) is a peptide antibiotic produced by Streptomyces.
Chemical properties
White or yellowish white powder. Melting point 226 ℃ (browning), decomposition at 234-238226 ℃, generally using coarse products, which are gray to grayish brown powder with a specific odor. Easily soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid. Oral LD5010g/kg for mice and LD50523mg/kg for 4-week-old chickens.
Purpose
Enramycin has strong activity against gram-positive bacteria and is not easily resistant to the drug. It can promote the growth of livestock and poultry, and improve feed conversion rate. Can be used for pig feed under 4 months old, with a dosage of 2.5 (10 × 104U) -20 (80 × 104U) g/t; It can also be used for chickens under 10 weeks of age with a feed dosage of 1-10g/t, and is prohibited during the laying period.
