Methyltrichlorosilane (M1/MTCS) is a colorless and transparent liquid, toxic, flammable, with a boiling point of 66°C. It is the basic raw material of organic silicon products. It is mainly used to produce cross-linking agents such as methyltriethoxysilane, methyltrimethoxysilane, silicon Resins, special coatings, building waterproofing agents and oilfield drilling anti-slump agents (sodium methyl silicate).
