In the era of the Golden Pig, ensuring the health of the pig herd is the ultimate benefit. As the "shadow killer" of pig farm benefits, parasitic diseases not only affect the production efficiency of pig farms, but also directly affect the immune system of pig herds, causing immune suppression, reducing resistance, and easily inducing other diseases. At present, it is an important season for pest control in pig farms. How can you ensure that you can do your pest control work safely and efficiently?
Currently, there are five common types of insect repellents used in pig farms
01 Mic compounds
Synthetic contact topical insecticides, represented by metformin, mainly repel surface parasites and are short-acting products.
02 Organic phosphate esters
Low toxicity organic phosphorus mainly repels surface parasites, commonly including trichlorfon, dichlorvos, and phoxim.
03 Macrocyclic lactones
There are Avermectin, Ivermectin, Doramectin, and Moxibutin, which are widely used and belong to the mainstream products of pig farms for pest control.
04 imidazolothiazoles
There are levamisole and thiamidazole, with levamisole being the most widely used. Currently, due to its narrow safety range, it only eliminates internal parasites and is rarely used in pig farms.
05 Benzimidazoles
Low toxicity insect repellents, the most widely used are albendazole and fenbendazole, which have poor efficacy in killing external parasites and are mostly mixed with ingredients.
The country has clearly stipulated that the addition of drugs to feed will be gradually prohibited this year. The common method of administration in pig farms, such as mixed feeding, may have the disadvantage of uneven mixing. Pig farms urgently need a product that is used less frequently, easy to operate, and has good results. Below, we will introduce a new type of insect repellent product -0.5% Moxixidin pouring solution to help prevent non resumption of labor and create a healthy pig herd.
