Manganese sulfate is an inorganic compound, a pink solid, and one of the commonly used manganese (II) salts in chemical laboratories. Manganese sulfate is an inorganic compound that typically exists in the form of hydrates, which are reddish rhombic crystals. Manganese sulfate is easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, odorless, non flammable, easily deliquescent, and decomposable at high temperatures. Due to different degrees of heating, manganese sulfate can release SO3, SO2, or oxygen, with residues such as manganese dioxide or manganese tetroxide. In the industrial field, manganese sulfate is mainly produced from manganese dioxide ore powder, pyrite ore powder, and sulfuric acid as raw materials.
