Effect of propiconazole
2023-01-06 16:13:52
Propiconazole has the characteristics of broad bactericidal spectrum, high activity, fast bactericidal speed, long duration, strong internal absorption conductivity, etc. It has become the representative variety of triazole new broad-spectrum bactericides with large tonnage in the world. It can effectively control the diseases caused by most higher fungi.
Propiconazole is a light yellow viscous liquid with boiling point (13.3Pa) of 180 ℃, vapor pressure (20 ℃) of 0.133mPa, refractive index of 1.5468, and specific gravity (20 ℃) of 1.27g/cm3. The solubility in water is 110mg/L, easily soluble in organic solvents. It is stable below 320 ℃, relatively stable to light, and the hydrolysis is not obvious. It is stable in acidic and alkaline media and does not corrode metals. The storage stability is three years.
Sterilization mechanism:
Propiconazole is a triazole fungicide among sterol inhibitors. Its mechanism of action is to affect the biosynthesis of sterols, so that the cell membrane function of pathogenic bacteria is damaged, and eventually lead to cell death, thus playing the role of sterilization, disease prevention and treatment.
Applied technology:
It is used in the flowering, seedling, young fruit and shoot tender stages of crops. It is used to control wheat diseases, rice bakanae, grape powdery mildew and anthrax, peanut leaf spot, banana leaf spot, leaf streak, etc. Specific prevention measures are as follows:
1. Prevention and control of banana leaf spot disease: At the beginning of the disease, propiconazole (20% EC) 1000~1500 times solution spray is the best, with an interval of 21~28 days. According to the development of the disease, continuous spraying for the second time can be considered.
2. Prevention and control of grape anthracnose: if it is used for protective prevention and control before the initial stage of disease onset, propiconazole (20% EC) can be used to dilute spray 2500 times;
3. If it is used for therapeutic prevention and treatment of grape anthracnose (mid attack): propiconazole (20% EC) 3000 times spray, the interval can reach 30 days.
4. Prevention and control of peanut leaf spot disease: Use propiconazole (20% EC) 2500 times diluted, spray at the beginning of the disease, and spray 2 to 3 times continuously every 14 days.
5. Prevention and control of watermelon vine blight: during the watermelon expansion period, propiconazole (20% EC) was sprayed with 5000 times spray.
6. Control tomato anthracnose and pepper leaf spot: dilute with propiconazole (20% EC) 2500 times, and spray at the beginning of the disease.
7. Prevention and control of strawberry powdery mildew: at the beginning of the disease, use propiconazole (20% EC) 4000 times spray
8. Control of wheat sheath blight: 1500 times spray with propiconazole (20% EC) at the beginning of the disease; In the middle of the disease, spray 1000 times. The amount of water sprayed per mu shall be no less than 60 liters manually, no less than 10 liters for tractors, and no less than 1-2 liters for airplanes. Spray pesticide evenly on internodes of wheat stem base.
It is an internal absorption bactericide with protective and therapeutic effects. It has inhibitory activity against ascomycetes, basidiomycetes and semi fungi except egg fungus, and can last for about a month. The control objects include wheat root rot, powdery mildew, rice bakanae, banana leaf spot, etc. The preparation is Enelitol 25% emulsifiable concentrates.
