Product Application
1. Sealing agent. Various organic silicon products used for the production of trimethyl silicon sealing, such as hydrogen containing silicone oil (non hydrogen terminated), vinyl silicone oil (non ethylene terminated), various viscosities of dimethyl silicone oil, spinning amino silicone oil, silicone rubber, silicone resin, etc; The polysiloxane prepared from it as a sealing agent has good thermal and chemical stability.
2. Cleaning agent, hexamethyldisiloxane, as a representative of cyclic and linear volatile methyl siloxanes (VMSs), is environmentally friendly and does not destroy the ozone layer like fluorocarbon cleaning agents. In the United States, volatile methyl siloxane silicone oil is an exempt product from volatile organic compound (VOC) regulations and can be used as a substitute for solvents restricted by regulations, making the formula more beneficial to human health and environmental protection. It can be used as a substitute for cleaning agents used in precision equipment in the electronics, defense, and aviation industries.
3. Methyl terminated vinyl silicone oil. MM and vinyl double end caps jointly terminate the polysiloxane chain, generating end vinyl silicone oil with both trimethyl silicone and vinyl end caps, used for low hardness, low viscosity addition molding potting adhesive.
4. Can be used as a raw material for cosmetics/personal care products. For example: bubble facial mask foaming agent, bubble cleanser, high-end sunscreen spray, non stick cup lip glaze, hold makeup foundation make-up (quick drying film)
5. Other uses: Hexamethyldisilazane is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry, gas chromatography analysis, semiconductor industry as a bonding agent for photoresists, rubber industry additives, and surface treatment agents for diatomaceous earth, white carbon black, etc. It is also one of the methylsilylation reagents.
