【 Indications 】 Mainly used for skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive Gram positive bacteria, respiratory infections, streptococcal angina, scarlet fever, diphtheria, legionellosis, pertussis, as well as infections such as gonorrhea, non gonococcal urethritis, acne, mycoplasma, and leptospira.
Pharmacological effects: Guitarimycin belongs to the class of macrolide antibiotics, with an antibacterial spectrum similar to erythromycin and a mechanism of action similar to erythromycin. Sensitive Gram positive bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus), pneumococcus, streptococcus, anthrax, erysipelas suis, Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium putrescens, and Clostridium aeruginosa. Sensitive Gram negative bacteria include Haemophilus influenzae, meningococcus meningitidis, Pasteurella, etc. In addition, it also has good effects on Mycoplasma.
